Are you on your own side? How might getting on your own side change your life – for the better?

I have been really loving Tricia Karp’s site lately and this post on self-care is a supreme example of the beauty that she’s all about.

This foolproof, guide to finishing what you start is exactly what I need this week.

There is not much more in the world that I like more than a small gold painted animal. Thus, these ornaments have my name written all over them.

5 Foolproof Ways to Motivate Yourself to Exercise, from my exercise guru MizFit.

How to make your life (more) awesome this week:

Stop right now, in this moment and tell the people who are important to you that you love them.

Look them in the eyes and tell them why it is that you love them - what separates them from the rest of the human beings on the planet, in your mind and heart.

Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself how perfectly and imperfectly gorgeous and human you are.

In this minute, forgive yourself for your perceived shortcomings.

Pray for your life. Dig in with both hands. Become an active participant.

Take a deep breath.

Visualize your energy zinging out of your body and positively impacting the people who are lucky enough to be in your sphere.

Do something kind – without anticipating what you’ll get in return.

Forgive someone. Forgive yourself.

In the comments, let me know – how will you honor the beauty of your spirit today? Don’t be shy.

Today I marched in the manifestation for equal rights/marriage equality in Paris! I had such a fun time, I felt empowered and informed, and I felt a part of something bigger than myself. That felt pretty great :)
