Five days left to pick up your copy of the new Body Loving Homework self-study e-course at the extra special pre-sale price. YIP!

In the world of following your entrepreneurial bliss – I deeply appreciate Tiffany Han’s post this week about why quitting your day job is not (always) the answer.

Body love is always available.

Oh thisan ethical guide to casual banging. Yes yes yes.

2013 is the year that I… travel, and this Yes + Yes post got me all excited about gorgeous experiences to splurge on while travelling.

The self-love series continues! This month, Margarita and I interviewed the fabulous Christina Rosalie. Check it out here.

Hannah Marcotti has cooked up a gorgeous course – Making Space for Surrender – which I highly recommend you checking out.

You know that sludgy, horrible moment that sometimes happens right before things get really, really good? Read this.

Do you believe that you shouldn’t be paid for spiritual work? How about work that feels really good to do?

I absolutely cannot wait to have a gaggle of children, so that I can commence making these DIY Cardboard Playhouses. I’m probably going to need an entire room to fill with a Cardboard village.

Make your life (more) awesome this week:

I am quite certain that you have noticed the “choose a word as your theme for the year” activity that has become wildly popular over the last couple of years. It’s one that I like, but haven’t participated in up until 2013. This year, I did choose a word, but I found myself needing to ground it somewhere. I wanted to really feel the meaning of that word – in my bones, in my limbs. I wanted my heart to shiver with excitement as I thought about the prospect of embodying the word.

I decided to create a supplemental practice for myself – a practice of collecting music, images, video and text that inspired the feeling of my chosen word. As in, how I would feel when I ran through the finish line or infused that energy into my daily life or truly embodied the living breathing intention behind the word choice.

I would love it if you started keeping a similar catalogue – of the things that light you up. The things that you find unendingly thrilling, fascinating, or enthralling.

I came across this video on Yes + Yes, and I immediately added it to my 2013 catalogue.

What lights you up? What feeling do you want to embody in 2013? What do you want to become?

This is the first year I’ve chosen a word, too! However, I kind of forgot that I’d chosen a word a few days after choosing it. :) I LOVE the idea of keeping a catalogue and collecting things that embody my word. Thanks!

Mara, I just love your blog – I keep coming back – I can’t get enough of your words!

My word for the year is success.

2013 will be the year I launch my own running and soul coaching business.

I will also continue working on loving myself, listening to my heart and soul and being compassionate to others.
