Today’s very special episode features two brilliant women who I have been honored to work with over the last two years, Tanya Levy and Carrie Cox. During the interview, Tanya and Carrie share fantastic examples and real life anecdotes of how they care for themselves as they navigate their daily lives. From motherhood to boundary setting to honoring the creative process, this conversation highlights the transformation, ease, and messiness that happens when you begin prioritizing your own care and making space for yourself in your life.
Tune in to hear us explore…
- Motherhood, boundaries, and having conversation about needs with our children
- Relaxing your expectations and allowing your needs to guide you
- The magic and power of devoting yourself to being present instead of perfect
- Healing your relationship with your inner critic
During our conversation we refer to my 9-month online circle, Tend, which is currently open for registration! Dance on over here to check out the details and claim your seat for the next round.
MEET CARRIE & TANYA
Carrie Cox is a single mama to a beautiful wee bee. She is a teacher, workshop facilitator, public speaker and mental health advocate. After spending most of her life trying to “fit in,” she now chooses to live her life by carving out and creating spaces where every body belongs. Working with Mara over the last three years has been a tremendous support in helping her do just that. Carrie’s newest idea, The ROHO Project (Room of Her Own), will be bringing beauty back into the lives of women and children who have experienced trauma.
