Needy 63: Learning to Celebrate Yourself

Learning to celebrate yourself, a Needy podcast conversation with host Mara Glatzel
When was the last time you celebrated something you did? For a lot of us the thought of celebrating wins, big or small, can feel a little uncomfortable. It requires us to embrace our enoughness. It requires us to validate and approve of ourselves — whether or not other people deem us worthy of celebration.

In this episode I am urging you to rethink how you celebrate. Take some time and begin to rewrite the rules you’ve made around celebrating yourself. It can be something as simple as getting yourself a fancy cup of coffee or listening to a podcast you enjoy.

Take a listen as I explore why you should shift the way you think about celebrations. I’ll be sharing how to validate your experience when things are difficult and how to shift your thoughts around celebrating YOU. You’ll also hear why sometimes you need to lean on yourself to be your own best friend and cheerleader.

Tune in to hear us explore…

  • Why people tend to avoid celebrating wins
  • Rethinking the rules you have around celebrating yourself
  • Small things you can do to celebrate yourself throughout your day
